My Story

Beginnings

Hailing from Richmond, Virginia and now based in Los Angeles, Farrar Pace is a writer, director, and sound mixer. While working in technology sales in Silicon Valley Farrar volunteered at the Midpen Media Center, a public access television station in Palo Alto. There Farrar nourished his true calling in film and received his MFA in Film & Television Production from the USC School of Cinematic Arts. He has worked as a production assistant on short films, features, and shows such as RuPaul's Drag Race, The Late Late Show with James Corden, Disney's Launchpad series, and numerous vertical-platform series for companies like DramaBox and ReelShorts.

Directing & Sound Design

Among Farrar's directing credits are the short One Night in WeHo (Official Selection for Golden State Film Festival and Marina del Rey Film Festival 2024), the indie show Hellhole Cafe. In addition to directing, Farrar is a dedicated sound designer, with credits on several award-winning USC thesis films includingWei-LaiSomniphobia, and The Nightmare

Art with Purpose

At the core of Farrar's work is a mission to discover the human heart. His love for filmmaking from its inception (writing, pitching) to process (directing, cinematography), and finalization (sound design), serve as the foundation for his creative vision. His work reflects his integrity to his craft from beginning to end.
